“Yeah, we did.” She answered, feeling uneasy that her brother was actually calm. Something was up, and she had to keep up with her acting. Her brother seemed to have caught on too, and that means she would have to think and act faster than he did. Eunji felt his gaze linger on her longer than it should, and she immediately loosen up her tensed muscles. *Must’ve been the tensed up muscles that’s trying to give me away.* She thought. Her ears perked up at his suggestion. *Yes, that’s it!* She excitedly giggled in her head. By meeting and catching up, the two boys would be able to improve their relationship, and then she and Kevin could spill the news about their current relationship to Minjun. “As a matter of fact, we should!” Grinning, so nodded her head enthusiastically. “Sure, I was feeling hungry too anyways, but would Kevin oppa be awake at this time?”“Alrighty then lets go” Minjun grabbed his little sister’s wrist and starting walking with her to the kitchen. Yet His mind was in slight confused state. Observing her earlier, he noticed how she was getting tense and stuttering her words. The boy eyes didnt miss a single detail action she did. He also wonder if his Slytherin best friend was awake, well its only 11 pm. It wasnt that late. “Im pretty sure he is awake”. Minjun took out his wand and waved it around. A paper appeared and began to write letters into sentences. Then when it was done, it disappeared in a puff a smoke. “I just sent him a message to meet us in the kitchen” he looked over at her. Maybe some questions may be answered from his unknown curiosity.
Kevin was just lying down on his bed when a piece of paper flew onto his face. He let out a groan and angrily pulled it off his face. “Who is this… oh Minjun…” He calmed down slightly and read it. “Bro… Meet me and my sister at the Kitchens. We have to talk.” He was getting nervous that he might have already figured out. Kevin got up and put on a crew neck sweater, and started to walk over to the Kitchens. As he reached the Kitchens, he saw the two standing up he looked over to Eunjiand smiled, then he looked at Minjun with nervousness but he still smiled. When Minjun walked in front of them, Kevin hugged and kissed Eunji’s cheek and held her hand until Minjun turned to them. They quickly separated and Kevin asked, “So why did you want me to come down here?” He leaned at the door frame and fixed his sweater.
Kevin. He was so cute. Sera liked him; he was like a big brother and completely denounced the Slytherin stereotype. Sure, they had lost contact recently, but that didn’t mean they had lost their friendship. She was much too fond of him for that. He had the same name of her best friend, which was always something to get confused about, but she managed. And so, she was ecstatic to see it was him she had just so happened to run into, thoughts of home already beginning to subside.
She waded over, careful not to draw any sort of attention to herself from unwanted guests. “Hey.” her voice was almost a whisper, though whilst excited she had a tendency to forget when lower volume was needed. “I couldn’t sleep.” Sera scanned the empty kitchen area. It was an entirely different place at night time. She wondered where the House Elves slept, because the place was very quiet apart from herself and her friend. “How about you? What are you doing up?”
“I got hungry…” Kevin whispered and patted his stomach. As the prefect turned the other hallway. It was a weird time to see Sera, they haven’t seen each other since, well a long time. Kevin turned on the dim light and looked in the pantry if there was any bread. As he saw a bag of bread her took it and took out two slices. “Grab one.” He said and moved the bag towards the Ravenclaw. “I know you want one.” He said wiggling the bread.
This reminded Kevin about how they had to stay at one another’s house, trying not to wake up anyone while getting a midnight snack. Of course Kevin being a bit shorter than normal kids he would have to jump up to get a bowl, everything would crash down and wake up everything. Now, Kevin was taller, and wiser… hopefully. As he heard the footsteps come close to the door he quickly tied the bag and threw it back, and closing the pantry. “Hide.” He said running up to the light to turn it off, as he ran back, he hit his head on a pot. He tripped and crawled behind the wall where Sera was.
Her cheeks flushed even redder than before when Kevin called her, ‘my tomato.’ She slapped his arm playfully. “Yah! Stop teasing me….” Her eyes widened when she heard the DJ announce that it was the last dance of the night. *So fast?* She thought to herself and pouted. Kevin stood up, took her hand and led her out of the Great Hall. She sighed inwardly. *So I guess it has ended already.*
“Yeah, I guess we are…” Eunji uttered softly. The night was definitely coming to an end and Kevin’s probably going to take her back to her dorm. “Eh?” She tilted her head to the side when Kevin mentioned that he wanted to show her something. He took her hand and walked down the hallways, eventually stopping in front of the music room. She looked up at him with questioning eyes. “The music room?”
He sat at the piano, and Eunji took her place beside him. She watched as his fingers skillfully played the piano, and when he began to sing, she felt warm inside. Someone, was finally singing for her. She smiled, and she began to sing with him.
After the song was a whir. She felt him caress her cheek, and suddenly, their lips made contact. She allowed herself to loosen up and respond back to the kiss, and unknowingly, she smiled when they were doing so. Her heart beat rapidly and the butterflies in her stomach were literally bouncing around. When they pulled away, she looked at Kevin shyly and her cheeks turned red again. “If I’m your tomato….you have to be my vitamin!” She laughed, scooting closer to him.
“So you will have me everyday?” Kevin said and pinched her cheeks. He looked up at the clock, it was close to being early morning. A crowd of students were going back to their dorms. Some were even peeking in, they ducked their heads so they wouldn’t be seen. If they were caught by her brother, Kevin would receive a beating, and possibly not being able to see Eunji again.
As Kevin held her he could hear his heart beat thump louder and louder, he never felt this thumping for a while. Every time she looked up at him, his feelings would start to rush, his palms would begin to sweat. Kevin checked the time again, it was nearing 4am. He looked out to see if the group was still in sight, he looked to the left then to the right. “I guess i need to take you back to your dorm…” Kevin said with a smile. He took her hand and walked out of the music room
Like how they went to the dance, the sounds of their shoes tapping against the ground, with small giggles. Kevin looked at the Ravenclaw, her smile, well her everything seemed to glow in the light of the halls. As they were nearing her dorms Kevin stopped halfway. “If we continue walking, I would have to let go of your hand.” He looked down at their entwined hands.
She clapped as Kevin break danced, and when he did a complicated move, her eyes almost popped out of their sockets. She was still in a state of shock when he did a mehrong at her, causing her to instantly wake up from her daze and feel all tingly. When he signalled her to go over, she absentmindedly walked towards him. “Ready?” He asked, moving her body. *NOOOOO* She screamed in her head, but outside, she tried her best to keep up with Kevin, who was a far better dancer than she was. As the dance came to an end, they were so close, so close that their lips would touch if Eunji were to move a tiny step closer. Her cheeks heated up and they instantly turned tomato red.
“Nah….that’s okay.” She said, still feeling dazed. He walked her back to their original table and sat down. *I must’ve looked horrible out there* She mentally cursed herself for not going to dance classes before even coming to the dance. She was then awoken out of her thoughts when Kevin’s warm hand came into contact with her flaming cheeks. “I already am a tomato. You could fry and egg here!” She pouted and pointed to her cheeks. She giggled slightly when Kevin held her hand and assured that she was fine out at the dance floor. She wanted to kiss him so bad, but knew that her brother would be lurking around somewhere. Her heart dropped and she frowned. *I guess….it wouldn’t happen today.*
Kevin smiled at the other, “Well at least you’re my tomato.” He heard the DJ say “Let’s wrap it up kids. everyone to the dance floor! or you can just leave right now.” The dance was ending for the night. He was glad that Eunji was there with him, finally his girlfriend. “Let’s go?” Kevin stood up and took her hand, walking out of the Great Hall. He looked around if any body was around. “We’re alone again…” He said to the Ravenclaw and smiled. “I want to show you something…” He took her to the music room. Sitting at the piano, he gestured her to sit next to him. He usually played by ear, listening to songs and plainly played the keys to the song. He suddenly remembered a song that he learned a while back. He started to sing too.
After the song, he looked at Eunji and caressed her cheeks with his hand. “Since no one is around, I guess its safe now…” He leaned in and their lips made contact. As they pulled away Kevin could see her cheeks turn a slight shade of red. “Oh there’s my tomato…” He said and playfully put his arms around her.

He turned on the dim light and smiled, “Ah there it is…” He reached up and took the bread. “Do you want some?” He offered a slice of bread to his old friend. “It’s your favorite…. wait do you still like bread?” He asked and bit the slice of bread.
There was footsteps heard in the hallway around the corner, Kevin took 5 slices of bread and shoved it in his hoodie pocket and quickly put the bread back. He then ran to the light switch and turned the dim light off. Grabbing Sera’s arm and hid behind the wall. “Prefect patrol. Their on their way, right corner turning and now in front of the door. Opening 3 2—- sh.” He said and shut his mouth.
